We take privacy seriously. Below is what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Definitions

The SMART TOURIST project respects your privacy. “Personal data” means information that identifies you (for example: full name, login, or company name) and actions you take on our site (for example: an order with contact details). “Anonymous data” cannot identify you (for example: visit statistics).

2. Use of information

We use personal data only to provide and account for services. We do not disclose one visitor’s personal data to others and do not publish or sell it. The only exception is when disclosure is required by applicable law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We publish only reports built on anonymous data that cannot identify users. We also use anonymous data for internal analysis to improve products and services.

3. Links

The SMART TOURIST site may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the accuracy or privacy practices of third-party sites.

4. Limitation of liability

We strive to follow this policy but cannot guarantee data safety under factors beyond our control. The site and all information are provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for losses from limited access to the site or use of the information.

Data linked to you

Name, User ID, Photos or Videos, Purchase History, Product Interaction, Email Address, Phone Number, Other Contact Info, Precise and Coarse Location.

Data not linked to you

Contact info (e.g., support email) when not tied to an identifier, Usage data (Product Interaction) when aggregated, Location (precise or coarse) when possible without linking to an identifier.

How we use data

  • App functionality (account creation, purchases, travel content, maps).
  • Analytics to understand usage and improve the service.
  • Security and fraud prevention.
  • User support and responding to requests.
  • Legal compliance and store requirements (Apple App Store, Google Play).

Your choices and control

  • Revoke location access in your device settings.
  • Opt out of analytics (where available) in app/device settings.
  • Manage subscriptions via App Store or Google Play (Subscriptions).
  • Delete account: in the app → Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This removes your credentials and account-linked data from active systems; some records may be retained as required by law (e.g., payments or fraud prevention).
